Don’t get me wrong, I like food…most of the time. Sometimes, I just forget to eat. I don’t often forget to feed the kids, although it has been known.
I’m not sure what I think about food anymore.
With each healthy eating book that I read, I seem to become more confused, as to what is best for me and my family. Every new chefs’ publication, brings further choice and further dilemmas, as each theory conflicts with the previous one.
Should I go organic? No, it appears that it’s a load of rubbish. Oh, hang on, today it’s the biz. Fruit before a meal? Don’t mix proteins and carbs? Never drink water with a meal……and so on.
What’s a stressed Mother to do? No-one eats your offerings anyway, unless it’s laced with sugar…and we know, at least, that that’s not good.
Maybe I’ll write about food. It might help.
I’m not talking recipes neccesarily, although there may be a few. We’ll take a trip and maybe clear the air. Might learn a thing or two along the way…..
